Warning: Only use hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners to clean your SHOEBOX hardware. DO NOT clean your transducers with alcohol-based products, organic solvents, or aromatic oils. Alcohol breaks down the plastic on the ear covers and headband, the adhesive keeping the headphones together, as well as the noise attenuating foam padding.
Hardware cleaning and infection control guidelines
Hardware must first be cleaned of particles (such as oils, smudges, dust) before effective disinfection of viruses or bacteria can take place. For efficiency, it is recommended to use all-in-one cleaning wipes that include both cleaner and disinfectant.

Important: Before using your SHOEBOX hardware, ensure you review the following cleaning and infection control guidelines.
Cleaning and disinfecting transducers
Recommended cleaning agent: 0.5% Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) based wipes. Note that 0.5% AHP is an effective equivalent to 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Warning: DO NOT clean your transducers with alcohol-based products, organic solvents, or aromatic oils. Alcohol breaks down the plastic on the ear covers and headband, the adhesive keeping the headphones together, as well as the noise attenuating foam padding.
To clean and disinfect transducers:
Prepare your cleaning materials. If you are not using wipes, apply cleaning and disinfecting agent to a soft, lint-free cloth. Ensure the cloth is only slightly damp.
Gently wipe down the cables, headband, and both ear cups.
Gently wipe around the foam padding on each ear cup.
Take extra care to ensure cleaning liquid does not come into contact with the center portion of the headphone as it can damage delicate internal components.
Cleaning and disinfecting iPads
Handle your iPad with care to maintain its appearance. If you're concerned about scratching or abrasion, you can use one of the many cases sold separately.
Recommended cleaning agent: 70% isopropyl alcohol-based wipes or Clorox wipes.
Warning: DO NOT use window cleaners, household cleaners, compressed air, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, bleach, or hydrogen peroxide. Using abrasive materials may scratch your screen and will deteriorate the oleophobic coating on the screen. This is what allows you to remove oil left by your hands on the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth.
To clean and disinfect an iPad:
In accordance with Apple's Product Cleaning Guidelines, the following is recommended for disinfecting and sanitizing your iPad:
Prepare your cleaning materials. If you are not using wipes, apply cleaning + disinfecting agent to a soft, lint-free cloth. Ensure the cloth is only slightly damp.
Unplug all cables and turn it off (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, and then slide the onscreen slider).
If using a fabric or leather case for your iPad, remove it before cleaning + disinfecting the iPad. Additionally, seek alternative cleaning methods for the case as disinfectants may damage the material.
Gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces. Avoid getting moisture in any opening. DO NOT submerge your iPad in cleaning agents
