You can create custom export templates for your reports so that only the data you need is included. You can also change the format and headings of the data exported. This can be helpful if you need to upload specific types of data to integrate with a third-party platform.
Once a custom export template has been created, you’ll be able to select it when you export data using the related report.

To create or modify a custom export template
- Log in to the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal.

In the sidebar, hover over Settings and select Report Export Templates from the list.
- On the Report Export Templates page, create, modify, or delete an export template:

To create a new export template, click New Template and select the report that you want to make a template for.
- To modify an existing template, click the name of the template. Then, in the top-right corner of the template page, click Edit.

To duplicate an existing template, click the three-dot menu beside the template and select Duplicate.
- To delete an existing template, click the three-dot menu beside the template and select Delete.

In the Title field, enter a title for your export template. The template title must be unique.

In the Description field, enter a description for your export template.
- Modify the Report Export Settings as needed. For more information, see Report export settings.
- If you want to restore the template to its initial state, click Reset to default. Note that resetting won’t revert the title or description.
- Click Save.

This setting allows you to select the date format (for example, YYYY-MM-DD). |

This setting allows you to select the format of the delimiters that separate the data. For example, comma delimiters separate data with commas (A1, A2, A3). |
