Adding a new test subject using the Data Management Portal

New test subjects can be added in one of two ways:

  1. Created on the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal and imported into your app.
  2. Created in the PureTest app.

If you need to delete any test subjects that have been created, you can do so from the Data Management Portal. For more information, see Deleting Patients.

Creating a test subject in the Data Management Portal

  1. Log in to your SHOEBOX Data Management Portal.

  2. Hover over Patients in the sidebar and click All Patients.

  3. Click +New.

  4. Add the relevant demographics. Required fields (first name, last name, etc.) are marked with an asterisk *.

    • Note: If doing shift calculations, entering the subject’s birth date and gender are required.

  5. Click Create to create the new test subject.

Note for Admin Users: If you use projects, ensure you add your new subject to a project on the portal as this cannot be edited in the app.
