Installation
Before you can begin testing, you'll need to install and log in to the QuickTest app. This section also helps you become familiar with QuickTest
Configuring Your QuickTest Settings
Before you begin the deployment phase for your QuickTest unit(s), you need to log in to your SHOEBOX web portal and configure your settings to ensure that QuickTest will perform the way you want it to.
Configuring your settings will change depending on whether you want participants to take the test using QuickTest a standalone kiosk (Kiosk Mode) or to be assisted by staff members (Attended Mode).
First, log in to the portal in your web browser by entering your e-mail and password. Next, you'll want to configure your settings.
Conducting a Test
Once you have completed your setup on the portal, we recommend you conduct a run-through of your test on the iPad before allowing participants to take the test. This will help you become familiar with the flow of the test and confirm that everything is working as intended.
Adding a Site Name
The final step in the configuration process is understanding how to access QuickTest’s in-app settings and add a site name. Adding a site name allows you to track the location that QuickTest participants took their tests and helps organize data if you test in multiple locations.
Maintenance & Monitoring
After your initial deployment, you'll want to ensure that your organization follows standard maintenance procedures so that your QuickTest units continue to run smoothly.
