One of the options for calibrating your transducers and microphones offered by SHOEBOX is an advanced replacement recalibration service where:
-
You reach out to us in advance of your calibration due date to place your order. If you are located in North America, you can initiate the process based on your SHOEBOX product:
We ship you newly calibrated equipment.
You plug in your new transducers and your 12-month calibration clock begins.
You return the expired transducers.
How it works
Approximately 30 days before your calibration expiry date, contact the SHOEBOX support team to place your order for the recalibration service. This is done by ordering the transducer/microphone advance calibration service (plus shipping and handling).
SHOEBOX will send you an advance replacement of newly calibrated transducers and/or microphone.
After receiving and setting up your new hardware, use the packaging to ship your expired hardware back to the SHOEBOX designated return location with your preferred shipping provider.
| Note: Your SHOEBOX contact will be able to provide specific information (such as costs, serial numbers, etc.) at the time of the request. |
Additional notes
You are responsible for the shipping charges of returning the equipment to SHOEBOX.
You have 30 days to return your expired hardware to our depot in Hauppauge, NY (US customers) or to our location in Ottawa, ON (Canadian customers). For shipping information, see PureTest return instructions and hardware installation.
SHOEBOX will inspect your returned equipment for refurbishing and recalibration.
Within 30 days of the advanced replacement, if the original equipment has not been received by SHOEBOX, or upon receipt and inspection by SHOEBOX the equipment is damaged beyond repair for future use, you will be charged the full hardware list price.
