Step 1: Get to Know the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal

To start, we recommend taking a few minutes to get acquainted with the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal. The portal is where you’ll configure all the settings for your online hearing screener and review the results of your participants.
Step 2: Configure Your Branding, Languages, and Test Settings

After familiarizing yourself with the Data Management Portal, you're now ready to begin setting up your online screener. Watch the playlist below to learn how to customize your company’s branding, select supported languages, and adjust the settings for your online screener.
Step 3: View and Download Participant Results

Once you have deployed your online screener to your participants, you can view their results in the Data Management Portal. Watch the following playlist to learn how to view participant information in the portal and download a CSV of the data gathered from your online screener.

Now that you’re familiar with the basics of SHOEBOX Online, you can explore advanced features such as embedding the online screener on your website, using reference and source IDs, and deploying the screener in onsite mode. These topics aren’t required for onboarding, but we highly recommend watching them to gain deeper insight into using SHOEBOX Online effectively.
Optional: Automated Data Transfer using the SHOEBOX Online API
Length: 1 article ~ 4 minutes
If your organization has a development or technical team, you can enable automated transfer of participants’ test result data from the SHOEBOX cloud to your content management system. This automation allows you to follow up with leads immediately after they complete their online test.
Each time a participant finishes a test, their results are synced to secure cloud storage and accessible through the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal. By leveraging the SHOEBOX Online API, these results are placed in a queue and, with assistance from your tech team, can be automatically pulled into your content management system, CRM, email marketing platform, and more.
To enable automated data transfer, the administrative user(s) from your organization will need to work with your development/tech team to access the SHOEBOX Online API. For more information, see Results Data API.
