The Patients page in the Data Management Portal is where you can access the demographic information and test results for your patients. You can also create new patients on this page.
If you are responsible for managing the data for specific patients, you can access an individual patient's file by clicking on the their name in the list on the Patients page. You can use the search function to quickly find the patient you are looking for.
On an individual patient's page, you can view their test results, required actions, demographics, and more.

To access the Patients page
- Log in to the SHOEBOX Data Management Portal.

In the sidebar, hover over the Patients tab and click All Patients.
To find an existing patient
Any patients that have been imported or created will be available on the Patients page.
If you’re a non-administrative portal user, you’ll only be able to see patients that you personally created or were given access to via a project.
If you’re an admin user, you’ll be able to see all patients in your organization, regardless of who created them.
You can search for a specific patient by typing their name or employee ID in the search box on the upper-right hand side of the Patients page. You can also use filters to help organize your patients. For more information on filters, check out the Working with filters section.
To create a new patient

On the Patients page, click the New button.
- In the Create Patient form, add the relevant patient demographics. Required fields are marked with an asterisk *.
- Note: You can choose which patient demographics to enable in your portal's settings. If doing shift calculations, entering the patient's birth date and gender are required.
- After filling in the patient's information, click Create.
